Division Memorandum No. 502, Series of 2019 was issued by Schools Division Superintendent Josita B. Carmen to inform the field of the Division’s unified testing for the Third and Fourth Grading Period.
A Poll of Test Developers was organized by the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) Education Program Supervisors which is composed of Master Teachers and select experienced teachers from the field.
The first in the series of writeshops started at San Pedro Country Farm and Event Center, Cantilan, Surigao del Sur on November 26 to 28, 2019.
One hundred sixteen (116) teachers/writers covering the nine (9) subject areas were tasked to construct the test questions after the orientation on the guidelines on test constructions were discussed by Carlos Tian Chow C. Correos, Division HRD Head and the setting of LRMDS based test material standards by Bryan L. Arreo, Education Program Supervisor.
The three-day writeshop was scheduled on December 4 to 6, 2019 at Grand Monique, Tandag City. Sixty-four (64) validators test validators assigned in the Subject Areas were grouped and were headed by the 9 EPS.
The test validation was somewhat criticism in nature since they have to observe strictly the indicators found in the validation checklist. These are to be checked against the Table of Specifications (TOS), list of competencies, the correctness of the stem and choices, and the observance of correct font style and format.
Lately, these test materials are accounted by the Division Testing Coordinator, Mr. Alexander Dapar and Division Supply Officer, Mr. Dante Grumo. They will take charge of the procurement and printing processes.
